James Shields tossed a complete game as the St. Paul Saints defeated the
Jefferson Park Penguins 4 to 3 at SAFECO Field.

St. Paul won the game with a rally in the bottom of the 8th inning with 3 runs
on 2 hits. After an out was recorded, Fred Lewis opened up the rally as he
drew a walk. Jose Reyes came next and he doubled bringing in a run. One out
later, Kevin Millar stepped in and he smashed a two-run homer (his 10th of
the season). Jefferson Park threatened in the 9th but their rally came up
short.

Shields(6-10), allowing 3 runs for the game, picked up the victory. The loss
was charged to Peter Moylan(4-3) in relief.

'It's a disheartening loss, no question about it' said Steve Seydell 'But we
have to get over it and get ready for the next game.'
